Marino's Pizza: Authentic Italian Flavor in Wood Dale, IL

This place is a pretty good spot to check out. It's a little different from what I am used to. It's not a sit-down service, so you have to order your food at the counter, similar to a fast-food restaurant. For the type of establishment it is, I really like the place. I recommend the Rigatoni (with vodka sauce and ask them to make it spicy). The flavor of the sauce was a lot better than I was expecting. I will say that the quality of the food is great for the price. I will definitely go back again. One major gripe that I have is they charge and fee for dining in. To me, that's a little sneaky and ridiculous. I am choosing to spend my money with you, don't charge me for doing so.

One of my favorite places to get Italian food! I’ve had a handful of items off the menu; from their pasta to their pizzas to all of their apps, everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Antonio pasta without sausage. I add in jalapeños and the pan-sliced veggie pizza. The last time I went, we also ordered some desserts, and the seasonal turtle cheesecake was delicious. The staff is fantastic. They constantly check up on you, and the place is friendly. They have a big room if you have a large party, and I recommend this place. I’ll be back to try more!!

I stopped in here I was going to have a late lunch, however the aroma of the place made me order chicken parmesan. one of the best chicken parmesan I've ever had! you can tell that it was fresh the portion size was big and very reasonable for the price. the service I received was awesome the two girls at the counter I asked if I should have pizza or chicken parmesan they both hesitated because they both knew that they were very good either choice I made. I highly recommend this place to dine in or for takeout.

Been coming here for years. This place is so great. The owner is a top-notch guy, will always make it right if anything goes wrong (which is rare). Place is clean, food is AMAZING and service is solid. The atmosphere is really nice too, they have a great location and a really nice interior. Overall great spot!

This is a place where you order your food at the counter, then they bring you the food at the table. I typically perfer full service, but the food here is great, and i was going for a low-key meal. Im glad i went. They actually still bring bread to the table. I loved the bread. The chicken parmesan and eggplant sandwich were really the best. We also enjoyed the calzone.

This place is a must STOP. Nothing but greatness here and everything served with a smile. The pizza, appetizers, fococia bread, pastas and desserts are all amazing. Large portions too!!! Anything these serve with breading is the best here.

Marino’s is an absolute gem for anyone craving homemade Italian food in the northwest suburbs. Everything we ordered hit the mark, and then some. I went with the calzone, which was baked to perfection, golden on the outside, and absolutely stuffed with ingredients. Every bite was hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My wife ordered the eggplant Parmesan, which was not only delicious but huge. Seriously generous portion, perfectly cooked eggplant, and rich, comforting flavors throughout. But the real surprise, and the star of the show, was the cream of zucchini soup that came with her dinner. Neither of us had ever tried it before, and it completely blew us away. Easily one of the best soups we’ve had in a long time: creamy, flavorful, and insanely comforting. From portion sizes to quality to unexpected standouts, Marino’s delivered across the board. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, homemade Italian dishes in the northwest suburbs.
